FUNNIEST MOMENT 2005

"BAZOOKA BELLRINGER"

During a particularly brutal attack on the Airport tower during May's installment of "The Coalition" Scenario, there were only minutes remaining in the battle. The Vurki Forces were attempting to assault the Airport, currently in the control of the Ganga, led by Captain Rod and his group of evil minions.

One attack after another was repelled by the Ganga, leaving few options in order to gain control before the hours' end. Sir Nate, with "The Widowmaker" grenade launcher in hand, had but one paint grenade left in his arsenal, as his grenade man was lost in the melee. In a final effort to control the tower, Sir Eric Easterday, (as you may have remembered from Funniest Moment 2003) made a valiant push for the tower. Sir Nate, seizing the opportunity to clear the tower for his troops, launched the final grenade. Entering the tower, Sir Eric placed himself directly in the trajectory of the grenade, which exploded off the back of his head. What was worse, poor Sir Eric was done in by his own grenade! Specially marked with an "X", this final grenade was made by Eric and Nate the week before in Nate's basement!

Eric's last words as he left the tower, "I feel like someone kicked me in the head." Unfortunately, because of this incident, "The Widowmaker" has been retired from the Field of play.

May we have a moment of silence for The Widowmaker, and for poor Eric's noggin.
