This field is a nice mix of light woods and very accommodating buildings.
It is bordered by the Hornet’s Nest, the Alamo and the Painted Forest. The field itself is in the shape of a bowl with each team’s buildings set in a semicircle around the bowl. Each building is color-coded and have names not unlike those you would find in an old mining town. You will find the main objective (a bag of “gold”) right in the middle of the deep ravine that creates the bowl shape. The field is complete with a mine shaft that burrows into the side of a hill.
“They’re going for the Gold!” is what you need to listen for, but often you hear it too late. Out of all the fields played, the Mine Field games are usually won by achieving the Main Objective.
