News Updates: March 20, 2010
It thought about raining, but luckily for us, the nasty weather held off for much of the afternoon so we could get some construction completed! Thank you so much to Mike Webber, who stopped by for a brief moment to drop off a $200 gift card for Home Depot, AND a $100 gas card from Shell. We truly appreciate it. Because of Mike’s generosity, Ray was able to go to Home Depot the same day and purchase supplies necessary for our new building, to be housed on the former location of the Jail in Splat City. Watch yourselves folks, the angles are going to be crazy!

Thanks go out to Rod, Ray, Chuck, Josh, Stephanie, Karl, Nate, Jon, Donna and Tony (and I might have missed a few! ) for all the work on this project. The goal was to get the building finished this weekend so that during the week we could get it painted to match the rest of the City! Our painting crew took advantage of the beautiful mid-week weather and completed this project. It looks great! A special thanks to Corynn for the trim paint job on the buildings - it really makes the buildings pop!
Ted and Kathy, thanks again for the wonderful feast provided to the workers. Corned beef and cabbage with all the fixins’ YUM! Who’d a thought St. Patrick’s Day was last Wednesday? Only one more work weekend before we will be gearing up for OPENING DAY of Splatmandu!
