News Updates: September 12, 2010

Today turned out to be a very nice day, despite the weather of Saturday! We added one waiver to the list of club members today. All fields were played and no problems were reported. Play on the field was mostly limited to the Hornet’s Nest, although some took to the City.

Many of the regulars decided to help Ted and Kathy prep the house and the yard for the up-coming BIG GAME XIV. Ted, Kathy, Ray and Nate all pitched in to clean out the fire pit in anticipation of Ted’s family coming in from out of town for the festivities.

On Saturday, we held our Annual FISH FRY - the appreciation dinner for all Key Members and 110%ers of the season. The weather was not very helpful - which led many to seek shelter indoors/or the garage from the rain. We thank you all for helping to make Splatmandu the club that it is! We appreciate it more than you can ever know. You are the heart and soul to keeping Splatmandu running. Without you all we would have closed down years ago. Everyone had a great time and we got to try many different dishes… YUMMY!

All the Michigan fans congregated in the garage to listen to the game.

Although Kathy is still working on the Rules for the game, we promise that they will be posted as soon as possible. Have a great and we will see you Sunday for BIG GAME XIV! Registration booth opens at 10:00am, so remember to get here early to secure your team of choice!
