This
field is located between the Neutral Zone and the Mine Field.
After playing this field for the first time you will see
why it is called the Hornets Nest. The field is very unique
in that it is changed about every two or three Sundays.
Because the field is made entirely of pallets, spools and
makeshift plywood bunkers, it can be easily rearranged.
A simple shifting of even a couple bunkers can sometimes
offer a revitalizing experience to the most experienced
player. Changing up the field offers a way to level out
the experience factor of the "home team." Its
nice to have a change of scenery; after all, we wouldn't
want players becoming too used to the layout. Some would
think of this field as speedball, but this is not always
the case. Without time limits, games can last anywhere from
three minutes to forty minutes! Lots of cracks in certain
bunkers allow you to see what's going on without exposing
yourself, but be careful....if you're looking through a
crack that a paintball could squeeze through....you just
might get stung!
